As part of Project EDWARD, police officers, along with their children, reminded not only drivers but also pedestrians about traffic rules that affect the safety of both them and other road users. Children used the opportunity to hand out leaflets with the declaration "My road safety pledge" and reminded drivers about the activities for "Driver! We do not hunt on zebras."
The aim of the action was to reduce the number of fatal accidents through increased inspections and to inform drivers about hazards, as well as raising awareness among all road users. We implemented the action plan 100%, because no one died on the region's roads that day.
