EDWARD for September

The Malta Automobile Club is encouraging car owners and drivers through its page on Facebook and through the media to support Project EDWARD 2017, and to “make the pledge” towards road safety on Malta’s and Europe’s roads.

The Club is suggesting to car owners and drivers to try and extend EDWARD from 21 September to the whole month of September, and if possible before and after such a month..

The Malta Automobile Club has also drawn the attention of the Attard Local Council to EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK and the EDWARD project. It has also drawn the attention of the Local Councils’ Association to EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK and Project EDWARD.

The Malta Automobile Club is also encouraging car owners and drivers to consider car sharing in Malta, particularly on their way to work and back, using the Club’s page on Facebook or the Bumalift community.

Target group(s):

All car owners and drivers in Malta

Objectives:

To promote mobility and road safety

Expected Outcomes:

Hopefully, a number of car owners and drivers "make the pledge" towards road safety, and less accidents, especially road deaths take place on Malta's roads
